Time, Why You Punish Me

So I bought a book a few weeks ago that I've been waiting for, I've also got shows I taped all week, and 2 DS9 DVDs I rented to watch. I keep saying "I'll watch/read it on the weekend." But then Sunday night rolls around and I realize that I haven't read or watched enough and while not reading does make me sad, when I don't watch the tapes, I don't have any clear ones to tape the following weeks episodes on.

Yeah, I know this is a minor gripe, but why does it seem that the things you want to do are the only things you don't get to do? I'm not saying that we shouldn't have to do things, since obviously we do or nothing would happen. But geez, I work all week, can't I have a chance to do something I want to do?
